In Memory of Ralph Reitan
1948-2008
On May 22, 2008, the YCCSC, the community, the sailing world and especially his family lost a hell of a man. Ralph Reitan was sailing his boat "Wabbit" in the MRSA Wednesday Night races when a squall descended upon the fleet. Ralph went overboard and ultimately passed away. He was just 59 years old.
Ralph was a long-time member of the Yacht Club of Cape St. Claire and served as Commodore in 2007. He was serving as Rear Commodore at the time of his death.
